The Critical Mentoring in STEM
Lab
"Making mentoring work for the next generation of STEM learners"
The "Critical Mentoring in STEM Lab" conducts research to advance public understanding of mentorship through critical, culturally responsive, and equitable frameworks, and to improve the academic trajectories of learners who experience marginalization in STEM.

We don't just research mentoring, but we model it. Our lab members are mentored at multiple levels and experience several professional development opportunities. Our goal, as mentors, is to support each student in their academic pursuits of a graduate career in STEM.
